Method

Step 1: Solder the LED pushbutton

Referring to the diagram below, solder the 8mm diameter LED pushbutton to four pieces of breadboard jumper wire using some solder, soldering iron, wire cutter and wire stripper. For the positive LED terminal, connect it to a 100$\Omega$ resistor. Use 3.2mm heatshrink to insulate the connections.

You have now successfully built the soldered LED pushbutton. You will need this later.

Step 2: Solder the limit switch

Solder two pieces of 4A instrument wire to each end terminal of the limit switch using solder and a soldering iron.

You have now successfully built the soldered limit switch. You will need this later.

Step 3: Solder the DC socket

Referring to the diagram below, solder the terminals of the DC socket using 4A instrument wire using solder and a soldering iron.

You have now successfully built the soldered DC socket. You will need this later.
